At North Florida Bone & Joint Specialists, we’re committed to delivering convenient, expert care throughout the Gulf Coast. As part of that commitment, we’re excited to announce the expansion of our clinical office footprint. In March, we opened two new locations in Milton and Navarre, FL, further enhancing our ability to serve patients across Northwest Florida.

With the addition of Dr. Chris Bookout and Jeanine Hellwig, ARNP-C, we now operate nine clinical offices, including three within the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze; three in Pensacola (one on 9th Ave. and two on Davis Hwy); and one in Fort Walton Beach at Uptown Station. Dr. Bookout’s primary office on Berryhill Rd., just west of Santa Rosa Medical Center, helps all North Florida Bone and Joint Specialists providers better serve our North Santa Rosa County patients, while his Navarre office, situated 2.5 miles east of Hwy. 87 on Navarre Pkwy., bridges the care gap between Gulf Breeze and Fort Walton Beach along the coastal corridor.

Regardless of which office our patients seek treatment in, our goal is to make every visit as efficient as possible by offering on-site services that meet a wide range of orthopedic needs. From advanced imaging and diagnostics to physical and occupational therapy, many of our locations are equipped to support comprehensive care under one roof. Imaging and diagnostic services, including CT scanners, are available at all our Gulf Breeze and Pensacola locations and our new offices in Milton and Navarre.

Our Gulf Breeze locations and Pensacola’s 9th Ave. Hand Center office also feature musculoskeletal ultrasound—a fast, cost-effective alternative to MRI. Additionally, our Foot & Ankle Center on Davis Hwy. offers the region’s first weight-bearing CT scanner. Physical therapy services are also available at our Foot & Ankle Center, Fort Walton Beach and Milton clinical locations and our shared space in Midway. Certified Hand Therapy is provided at our Hand Centers on 9th Ave. in Pensacola and Suite 209 at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze.

At that point, many patients ask the same question: "Am I ready for surgery, or are there other options I should consider first?" The answer is rarely as simple as "yes" or "no."
